Swiss Army Invade Liechtenstein!

Yup! A swarm of rookie Swiss troops crossed the border of Liechtenstein, carrying guns and army equipment. Liechtenstein’s response?

“No biggie,” says the leader of the nation. “A lot of people mistake our country for a city all the time. I don’t think we appear on most maps.”

Okay, the above conversation didn’t really exist. The guns didn’t have live ammunition and the soldiers accidentally crossed the border. Swiss diplomats swiftly contacted the government of the country (I can’t pronounce or spell it…thank goodness for Copy & Paste) and the Interior Minister forgave them very quickly. ”It’s not like they stormed over here with attack helicopters or something,” he said.

Whew! Another war averted, this time with words. Diplomacy does work after all.
